Ex-British Prime Minister David Cameron often practiced the full-bladder technique. A theory that he learnt from Enoch Powell that holding it in gives you a sense of urgency and focus.
Before important speeches or negotiations, Cameron kept his mind focused by refraining from urinating.
The technique also helps people to lie more convincingly. In a test by California State University subjects who needed to urinate showed fewer signs that they were lying and gave longer, more detailed answers.
